　　2006年，印度孟買。
　　印度青年杰瑪?馬利克（戴夫?帕特爾飾）還差一個問題就能贏得2千萬盧比。他是怎么做到的？A：他作弊；B：他幸運；C：他是天才；D：一切命中注定。
　　這是《誰想成為百萬富翁》電視猜謎節目的人生版。杰瑪?馬利克在已經贏得1千萬盧比的情況下被警方以欺詐罪逮捕，嚴刑拷問下杰瑪說出他獲得1千萬盧比的--——他確實知道答案，但他只知道這些！
